National Youth Resource Center (NYRC) is a national youth NGO registered at the Ministry of Justice of Republic of Moldova on May 27, 2003 with the number 2638. NYRC has as mission to support young people and non-governmental youth sector participation in the development of a sustainable civil society in Moldova.

NYRC offers to young people and professionals working with youth the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for being active citizens of their communities. The Center enables youngsters to find and use their capacities and experience in solving their own and the community’s problems. NYRC believes that developing themselves youth develop the community as well.

NYRC is a safe and friendly space both for youth and youth workers; it provides them with support, resources, training and non-formal education opportunities. All the activities provided by the Center are planned on the basis of the rights, needs and interests of its target groups

OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATIONS
- To improve the level of communication and cooperation between young people, youth non-governmental sector and governmental institutions through the development of intersectorial activities, providing access to information, consultancy, training and technical assistance.
- To support the activity of local and regional Youth Centers and to build the capacities of professionals working with youth to ensure an efficient youth participation in the social life.
- To build the capacities of youth NGOs through the development of a long term training program, creation of teams of trainers and building national network of trainers.

The National Youth Resource Center (NYRC) is an association with seven employees who are working permanent in the office. Also we have an integrated CIM expert from Germany working as consultant at the office. We are working with an experienced and diversified trainer pool.

Depending on projects the NYRC contract students and young professionals paid by projects temporal. Also we work closely with volunteers and an over regional network of local youth centers and local youth organizations and groups depending on projects. One of our strength is that we work with the countrywide youth structure for many years.
